After a notable year in supporting roles, Jayasuriya is again back to playing the lead roles.

The new film by V K Prakash titled ‘Positive' will have the young star playing a police officer. The film in the scripts of S N Swami will also feature ‘Notebook’ fame Sooraj, Saikumar, Manikuttan, Jagathy, T G Ravi, Augustine, Maala, and Bindu Panikkar.

The film will have two heroines who are not yet confirmed. The music section will be handled by the hit team Vayalar Sharth- Alex Paul. Expected to start by the 24th of this month, the film will be a notable project of Jayasuriya who will also appear in the lead in few other movies in 2008 .
